3 Ingredient, 5 Minute Hummus

This. Hummus. Arguably the easiest, creamiest, tastiest hummus out there. Best part? You never have to buy the hummus from the store that has lots of random oils and unnecessary ingredients EVER AGAIN! We’ll call it 3 ingredients because ice, chick peas, and olive oil are the main event in this recipe. BUT you can add whatever you want: beets, garlic, lemon, roasted red peppers, parsley…the possibilities are endless!

Recipe

Serves: ~12oz jar

Cook time: 5 minute

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of chickpeas, drained & rinsed
  • 3-4 ice cubes
  • 1 1/2-2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: 2-3 cloves garlic
  • Optional: juice of 1/4 lemon

Instructions:

  • Add all ingredients except olive oil to a food processor or blender
  • Blend, slowly adding in olive oil
  • Continue blending until desired consistency is achieved
  • Store in the fridge for ~2 weeks
